What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to vendors, visitors, and guests by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout market areas, vendor spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and pedestrian and vehicle activity; assist with directing visitors and communicating site rules as directed.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
- A Guard Card/License is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
