As a Facilities Maintenance Technician supporting the Tesla Diner, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of restaurant and office building equipment. This role involves hands‑on work across a range of systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical. You will perform both preventive and emergency maintenance, diagnose and repair systems, and ensure overall safety and reliability of the facility’s infrastructure.
WhatYou'll Do
- Maintain, operate, diagnose, and repair critical facilities equipment such as HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen appliances, and plumbing fixtures to ensure continuous and efficient operation.
- Perform thorough preventive and corrective maintenance on various facilities systems to minimize equipment downtime.
- Install, repair, and upgrade infrastructure equipment, including ductwork, piping, and electrical wiring, ensuring all installations meet safety and operational standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of mechanical and electrical systems, identifying potential issues and performing necessary repairs to prevent failures.
- Monitor and oversee subcontractors, ensuring their work aligns with facility standards and safety protocols.
- Support continuous improvement of facility operations by proactively identifying opportunities to enhance system performance and reliability.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience in facilities maintenance, preferably in hospitality, restaurant, or commercial office environments.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Extensive training in safety practices, with the ability to assess and communicate necessary procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams, piping, and instrumentation diagrams.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
- Demonstrated technical ability in the maintenance of HVAC and plumbing systems.

$19.30 – $56.54 per hour, plus cash and stock awards, and benefits. Pay offered may vary depending on market location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
