Position SummaryThe Residential HVAC Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing residential HVAC systems while maintaining clear communication with homeowners and accurate job documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and mini-splits
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and residential service calls
- Clearly communicate system findings and recommendations to homeowners
- Complete detailed service notes, photos, and documentation using field service software
- Accurately track labor hours and materials used
- Follow company procedures, safety standards, and best practices
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional company vehicle
- 3+ years of residential HVAC service experience preferred
- EPA Certification (required)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Professional appearance with a customer-focused mindset
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Comfortable using mobile devices and service software
