ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems - Service Technician

As a Service Technician, you will deliver exceptional service and maintain automated pedestrian doors at customer locations.

• Perform planned maintenance, break‑fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving electro‑mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic.
• Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low‑voltage wiring.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, end‑users, and contractors.
• Participate in training programs and maintain AAADM certification.
• Operate power tools and perform physically demanding tasks (lift up to 100 lbs., climb ladders, kneel).
• Participate in on‑call rotations after certification and training.

• Mechanical aptitude with experience in repairing electro‑mechanical devices.
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low‑voltage (120 V) wiring (access control systems a plus).
• Experience in glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• High commitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and teamwork.
• Ability to lift, bend, and use power tools effectively.
• Must meet the minimum age requirement of 21.
• Must obtain and maintain AAADM certification within one year of employment.

• Salary: $25‑$35 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications.
