We are seeking an Electronics Technician 4 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit. As part of the SES strategic business unit you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates and maintains electronic security services inclusive of intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, IT systems, perimeter defense and command and control systems for federal, local and commercial customers across high‑growth markets.

Responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for installing and maintaining electronic security systems, performing preventive maintenance, inspections, evaluations, and inventory.

  • Lead teams on large complex installation projects with limited supervision.
  • Conduct daily toolbox talks, ORMs, and safety audits.
  • Install and maintain equipment at local and global levels per design packages.
  • Program and install head‑end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection and CCTV systems.
  • Troubleshoot and isolate systems and hardware at local and global levels.
  • Lead on‑site software commissioning and testing.
  • Lead inspections, evaluations, and inventory; perform take‑off project drawings; create and manage project schedules.
  • Document daily reports and project progress.
  • Communicate project and team member issues and concerns to management.
  • Integrate IDS, ACS and CCTV systems; forecast and manage project labor hours.
  • Guide and mentor technicians.
  • Position requires 100% travel.
Qualifications

Key Requirements
  • Valid driver’s license; ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle may be required.
  • Acceptable driving record as per company policy.
Education
  • HS diploma or GED; military electronics training (minimum 720 classroom hours) or graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program or electrical apprenticeship program.
  • Additional three years of electronics installation and/or maintenance experience.
Required Progressive Experience
  • 8+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance across multiple systems and customer programs.
  • 3+ years focused on electronic security systems.
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • Background working with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Time‑management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is a plus.
  • Travel capability of 50%.
Desired / Advantageous Qualifications
  • Vendor certifications in multiple IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems (e.g., CCURE, Lenel, Identiv/Hirsch Velocity, Bosch Radionics, Bosch CCTV, Bosch BVMS, AIphone Intercom, Airphone, FFT, DIVAR, Windows operating systems).
