Retail Display Installer - Technology

Job Type: Per Requested Need.

Location:

Market - SS - CA - San Jose. Travel up to 90 miles from home (average). Paid drive time & mileage reimbursement.

Schedule:

Monday–Friday. Weekends are not required. 2020 Companies is seeking a reliable, detail‑oriented Field Service Representative to install and update sales floor fixtures, endcaps, buildouts, resets, and display repairs for leading brands such as Dell, Intel, Dyson, Google, and HP. You will work independently, meet deadlines, and use mobile applications to complete assignments efficiently and professionally.

Hourly rate: $20.25.
Next‑day pay on demand via Daily Pay.
Paid training.
Minimum 20 hours of fieldwork within a rolling 30‑day period.
Paid drive time & mileage reimbursement.

• Respond promptly and consistently to field services management, maintaining communication within 24 hours.
• Keep availability updated and accurate.
• Complete all assigned jobs on or before scheduled end dates.
• Install and build displays, end caps, and fixturing.
• Complete required forms, images, and surveys before leaving the job site.
• Maintain and update displays according to planograms and client requests.
• Conduct break‑fix repairs to ensure displays and fixtures are fully functional.
• Participate in early‑morning installations and in teams of two or more, providing solution feedback.
• Manage virtual software and ensure successful execution of related tasks and timelines.
• Assist other team members as needed.
• Adhere to timelines and accurate timecard submission; report anomalies daily with needed corrections.
• Work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Participate in training and certification programs.
• Accurately track, record, and communicate activity via designated systems and workflows.
• Available for weekend assignments as required.
• Accept and schedule all assigned jobs within 48 hours of receipt.

• Age 18 or older; authorized to work in the United States.
• Flexible availability Monday through Friday, with weekend, holiday, early‑morning, and late‑night availability as needed.
• Minimum of 20 hours of fieldwork within a rolling 30‑day period.
• Physical abilities: climb a ladder up to 10 feet, safely lift and carry up to 60 lbs, kneel, walk, crouch, bend, reach overhead.
• Adaptability to changing tasks and environments.
• Effective communication skills via phone, text, and email.
• High school diploma or equivalent; retail or merchandising experience beneficial but not mandatory.
• Installation and merchandising experience preferred.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Ability to follow planogram directives.
• Own an Android or Apple mobile device to upload photos and data.
• Ownable reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and proof of insurance; willing to travel up to 90 miles per assignment.
• Superior leadership, professional communication, and presentation skills.
• Good judgment, problem‑solving ability, and strong time‑management skills.
