JLL is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our Work Dynamics team in San Jose, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and optimization of building systems and facilities infrastructure for our client's portfolio. You will ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems while maintaining high standards of service delivery and client satisfaction.

• Maintenance and Repairs:
  Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, equipment, and facilities, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, lighting, doors, and windows
• Preventive Maintenance:
  Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to proactively identify and address potential issues, ensuring optimal functioning of all systems
• Troubleshooting:
  Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and failures, taking appropriate corrective actions to resolve them efficiently
• Work Order Management:
  Receive and prioritize work orders or service requests, ensuring proper documentation and timely completion of tasks
• Inspections:
  Conduct regular inspections of the building's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to identify issues or potential risks and address them promptly
• Vendor Management:
  Coordinate and supervise the work of external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or maintenance services, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timely completion
• Emergency Response:
  Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency response and be available to address urgent maintenance issues after hours or on weekends, as required

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, preferably in a commercial real estate or facilities management environment
• Knowledge of building systems, including Culinary Equipment, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Basic understanding of carpentry, painting, and general repair techniques
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and diagrams
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze issues and provide effective solutions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with tenants and colleagues
• Basic computer skills for maintaining work order logs and accessing relevant information
• Physical stamina and flexibility to perform physical tasks, lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds), and work in different weather conditions
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

• Vocational training or certification in maintenance or a relevant field
• Experience in commercial real estate or facilities management
• Knowledge of specialized maintenance systems and equipment.
