• Assist in the installation and configuration of telecommunications hardware and software.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on network infrastructure and customer premises equipment.
• Respond to service calls and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company standards during all field operations.
• Provide basic technical support to customers, explaining service functionalities.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and equipment used.

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• A relevant technical qualification or certification in telecommunications or electronics is advantageous.
• Basic understanding of telecoms principles , including copper and fiber optic cabling.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and test equipment.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel within the George region and work flexible hours when required.
