- Plan and execute unmanned maritime operations supporting customer objectives.
- Operate uncrewed surface vessels during launch, recovery, and on-water missions.
- Conduct pre-mission inspections, system configuration, and post-mission maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and repair propulsion, power, navigation, and communications subsystems in the field.
- Coordinate daily with military and government personnel as the customer liaison.
- Provide operator training and technical advisory support to customer personnel.
- Maintain mission logs, maintenance records, and operational reports.
- Hands-on experience operating or maintaining USVs, ROVs, or comparable unmanned maritime systems.
- Experience with small craft handling and on-water operations.
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience with marine or field-deployed systems.
- Active SECRET clearance and U.S. person status.
- Ability to deploy OCONUS on short notice with a valid U.S. passport.
- Ability to work extended schedules in austere environments and perform lifting, boat operations, and sustained outdoor work.
- Degree in electrical, mechanical, or related engineering field preferred.
- Military unmanned systems, small boat, or expeditionary operations experience preferred.
- Experience with Mission Planner, QGround
Control, Ardu Pilot, MAVLink, SATCOM, or gas/diesel small-craft maintenance preferred. - Prior OCONUS deployment experience preferred.
- $500–$800 per day, commensurate with experience.
- Hazard pay, per diem, lodging, and transportation provided.
- CONUS training followed by rotational OCONUS deployments typically lasting 30–90 days.
- Flexible schedule between taskings.
- Part-time position; not eligible for health benefits.
