Career Systems Development Corporation seeks an Outreach Transition Program Specialist to support young adults transitioning into Job Corps and post-program opportunities. In this Educational Services role, you will recruit and enroll eligible students, conduct outreach to community partners, schools, and agencies, and guide participants through orientation and placement processes. You will maintain accurate case files, track outcomes, and coordinate supportive services.

Working in a collaborative, mission-driven environment, you will help students access vocational training, education, and employment pathways that lead to self-sufficiency nationwide.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit and enroll eligible young adults into Job Corps and related programs
  • Conduct outreach to schools, community organizations, and agencies to build referral networks
  • Guide students through application, orientation, and transition processes
  • Provide basic case management and follow-up to support retention and successful outcomes
  • Maintain accurate electronic and paper case files, documentation, and reports
  • Track student progress, placements, and outcomes in required systems
  • Coordinate with internal education, career services, and support teams to meet student needs
  • Deliver presentations about Job Corps opportunities to prospective students and partners
  • Ensure compliance with program, contractual, and regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to a student-centered, respectful, and inclusive program culture
