Akkodis is seeking an iOS Developer for a Contract with a client in San Jose, CA. This role focuses on building high‑quality iOS applications using Swift and Xcode frameworks.
Rate Range: $49/hour to $56/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Job Responsibilities Include
- Develop and maintain high‑quality iOS applications using Swift, Swift
UI, and Xcode, ensuring clean architecture and scalable code. - Implement UI components, features, and workflows while leveraging Swift Package Manager (SPM) and modern iOS frameworks.
- Create and execute mobile automation tests using XCUItests, ensuring strong test coverage and reliability.
- Utilize scripting languages such as Python or NodeJS to support build automation, tooling, and CI/CD processes.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to refine requirements, improve app performance, and deliver seamless user experiences.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize mobile applications while adhering to best practices in coding, security, and performance tuning.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6+ years of hands‑on experience in iOS application development using Swift and Xcode.
- Strong proficiency in Swift, Swift
UI, SPM, and iOS ecosystem fundamentals, with proven experience building and maintaining production‑grade mobile apps. - Demonstrated expertise in mobile automation (XCUItests) and scripting (Python or NodeJS) to support testing, CI/CD, and development workflows.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $56.00 per hour
