As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) on the Pay Pal Honey Extension team, you’ll develop and execute both automated and manual tests to ensure seamless, high-quality releases. You’ll collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to validate new features, strengthen automation frameworks, and continuously enhance our testing pipeline. In this role, you’ll own the end-to-end testing process—defining test strategies, executing regression and feature testing, contributing to the automation, and driving improvements to release quality through proactive planning and rigorous test execution.

Implements tasks within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), receiving structure and oversight from more experienced staff

Understands internal standards & processes an applies them to make technical decisions

Collaborates with peers, manager, and project lead to gain understanding of tasks and review solutions

1+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Proficiency in creating test plans, test cases, and executing E2E test scenarios

Keen eye for quality, with a passion for preventing issues before they impact user

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams
