Software Quality Engineer

Location:
San Jose, CA 95110 (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 months (possible extension)

• Work on black-box testing of video editing applications.
• Create automation scripts and tests that can be run within the existing automation system.
• Test features related to playback and export performance.
• Test features on Windows and Mac platforms.
• Work on ensuring the highest quality, performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with global teams on a regular basis.

• 5+ years' experience in Software Engineering with 3+ years working on automation and black-box testing.
• Strong knowledge of black-box testing methodologies on Mac or Windows.
• Strong knowledge of python or other scripting language.
• Experience testing video applications.
• Strong working knowledge and test experience with CUDA, Metal and/or OpenCL and video processing pipelines.
• Experience working with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins or Team City will be a plus.
• Experience working in an Agile sprint-based development environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working in a global environment.
• Ability to think creatively to solve complex problems.
