The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Computer Scientist to help scale our Experience Engineering initiatives. In this role, you will drive and orchestrate complex solutions bringing together our best in class creative & experience products, enabling millions of users worldwide. With a deep understanding of software development processes and a keen eye for detail, you will ensure flawless execution and deliver high-quality outcomes.

This role is ideal for a seasoned engineer with diverse experience and a passion for building scalable solutions.

What you'll Do
  • Build and deploy personalized multi-channel journeys and experiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and implement solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Contribute to platform strategy and evolution, employing your understanding of design principles and industry standards.
  • Design, develop, and maintain tools, APIs and services that enable Mar Tech workflows, including integrations with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) ecosystem.
  • Drive best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment, ensuring robust and maintainable solutions.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
What you need to succeed
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or comparable practical experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • Solid understanding of platform architecture or experience building platform-based solutions.
  • Hands‑on experience with Adobe Experience Cloud products or similar Mar Tech platforms is a huge plus.
  • Expertise in at least one programming language—Java, C++, React or similar.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $159,200 – $301,600 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job‑related knowledge, skills and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
In California, the pay range is $208,300 – $301,600. In Washington, the pay range is $190,200 – $275,400.
