Pay Range: $65 - $70 per hour (W2)

Join our innovative team as a Senior Java Developer to enhance and build scalable RESTful APIs with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices. This role involves improving observability, monitoring, and reliability, as well as ensuring the performance and resiliency of SLA-critical APIs. Collaborate with the Payments and larger Commerce team to contribute to shared frameworks, libraries, and engineering standards.

• Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot within a microservices architecture.
• Initiate and lead observability, monitoring, and reliability projects for our services.
• Optimize the performance and resiliency of critical APIs to meet SLAs.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to contribute to shared codebases and standards.
• Contribute to the improvement of system-wide observability and monitoring practices.

• Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Proficient in designing and implementing microservices-based architectures.
• Solid understanding of observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk).

• Prior experience in payments or commerce platforms is highly desirable.
• Background in building and operating full-stack, production-grade web applications is essential.

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field.
