Overview
CTG is seeking to fill a Senior Frontend Application Developer (Angular/Type Script) position for our client.
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 10 months
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement high-performing frontend applications using Angular and Type Script.
- Serve as a technical consultant, contributing to frontend architecture and application scalability.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimization strategies across the application stack.
- Define and enforce frontend quality gates, coding standards, and best practices.
- Recommend and integrate tools into CI/CD pipelines to improve build, test, and deployment processes.
- Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions to ensure application reliability and observability.
- Develop automated runbooks and self-healing mechanisms to improve operational resilience.
- Collaborate with application, platform, and support teams to troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues.
- Apply modern software engineering and Dev Ops principles to improve frontend reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
- Strong expertise in Angular and Type Script for enterprise-scale frontend development.
- Proficiency with modern frontend architectures, component-based design, and state management.
- Experience optimizing frontend performance and scalability.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and frontend build/test automation.
- Knowledge of logging, monitoring, and alerting tools in production environments.
- Experience with frontend integration to backend services and APIs.
- Exposure to Boq Web, Soy, or similar frontend frameworks/templating technologies is preferred.
- 7+ years of overall software development experience, with a strong focus on frontend application development.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience developing Angular applications using Type Script.
- Proven experience supporting and scaling applications in production environments.
- Experience working in agile development teams and collaborating across engineering and operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $150,000 to $180,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
