Payrate: $68.00 - $69.00 /hr.

Summary: Android Developer. All the below skills + Automation Experience total 8 years exp. The main function of an Android developer is to work with engineers to develop and maintain high quality mobile applications utilizing Android software. They will collaborate with internal teams to develop functional mobile applications, while working in a fast-paced environment.

• Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)
• Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean code
• Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions
• Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions
• Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance
• Design interfaces to improve user experience
• Liaise with Product development team to plan new features
• Ensure new and legacy applications meet quality standards
• Research and suggest new mobile products, applications and protocols
• Stay up to date with new technology trends

• In-depth knowledge of at least one programming language i.e. Java
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Familiarity with OOP design principles
• Excellent analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude
• Ability to perform in a team environment

• BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field
• Proven work experience as an Android developer
• Demonstrable portfolio of released applications on the Android market

The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $68.00 - $69.00 /hour. As a non-exempt position, this role will be eligible for overtime, at 1.5 times the base rate, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
