RoleWe are looking for a Salesforce Developer to join our team. This is a hybrid role based in San Jose, CA reporting to the Sr. Director, Application Engineering. As a core member of the IT Business Apps team, you will drive the design and development of scalable Salesforce solutions that empower our internal stakeholders. You will leverage your expertise in Apex and Lightning Web Components to build robust applications, optimize system performance through rigorous testing and code refactoring, and ensure seamless deployment and data integrity across our environments.
WhatYou’ll Do (Role Expectations)
- Develop and customize user interface components using Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura, ensuring alignment with the Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS) and upgrading Visualforce pages to improve user experience
- Write and maintain Apex Controllers, Triggers, and SOQL/SOSL queries to handle server-side logic and retrieve data while strictly adhering to Governor Limits and best practices
- Champion code quality by refactoring existing Apex classes, ensuring context awareness, and utilizing JavaScript Helper functions to maintain clean, efficient controllers
- Execute robust testing strategies by writing Apex test classes to achieve at least 75% code coverage, and manage deployments from Sandbox to Production using VS Code and Git
- Manage routine data maintenance, bulk uploads, and environment synchronization using Data Loader to ensure data integrity across the platform
- You thrive in ambiguity. You're comfortable building the path as you walk it. You thrive in a dynamic environment, seeing ambiguity not as a hindrance, but as the raw material to build something meaningful.
- You act like an owner. Your passion for the mission fuels your bias for action. You operate with integrity because you genuinely care about the outcome. You adapt to what’s needed, navigating seamlessly between high-level strategy and hands‑on execution.
- You are a problem-solver. You seek out challenges because you are energized by finding solutions, knowing that solving the hard problems delivers the biggest impact.
- You are customer-obsessed. You build deep empathy for the customer—both internal and external—and anchor your decisions in solving their real‑world problems. You champion their needs from start to finish, knowing their success is our success.
- You operate with urgency. You understand that in a high-growth environment, speed and quality are not mutually exclusive. You have a relentless focus on execution and a bias for action, delivering high-impact results quickly to win for the customer and the team.
