The OpportunityJoin Adobe as a Software Development Engineer 5 and become a pivotal part of a new product launching later this year! This role is perfect for an ambitious individual eager to build the future of AI‑Native application workflows in a dynamic, fast‑paced development environment. As a founding member, you will determine product decisions and take ownership of complete end‑to‑end workflows, ensuring outstanding quality of service.

- Build and maintain ingestion pipelines for both structured and unstructured data sources
- Develop seamless integrations over REST & MCP
- Build agents using the latest AI models
- Evaluate agents for precision, recall, and accuracy to ensure flawless performance
- Develop components with 99.99% availability
- Translate complex customer requirements into delightful and user‑friendly feature implementations
- Bachelor's or equivalent experience, or Master's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Proficiency in core computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and system design
- 10+ years of experience in product development and composition, with a proven track record of building high‑efficiency and low‑latency applications
- Demonstrated ability as a self‑starter, capable of driving projects from inception to completion
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex ideas and influence others through well‑reasoned explanations
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with CI/CD technologies and guidelines
Proficiency with any of the major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) - A collaborative approach with a dedication to crafting an inclusive and innovative work environment
The U.S. pay range for this position is $159,200 – $301,600 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
In California, the pay range for this position is $208,300 – $301,600.
Additional Compensation and BenefitsAt Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short‑term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non‑sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short‑term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long‑term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
