• 10+ years of experience in a related field
• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
• Expert in Python or C, C++
• Very experienced with model based development using Matlab/Simulink
• Experience in developing and maintaining relational databases
• Extensive experience developing enterprise level applications
• Expert at gathering user requirements and developing design diagrams, user documentations, and project plans for developing software
• Expert at architecting software tools and development, including internal and external APIs
• Very knowledgeable of standard software development tools
• Continuous integration - Team City / Artifactory
• Version control - Git / Bitbucket
• Issue tracking - Jira
• Development environment application deployment, and orchestration - Ansible
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Comfortable leading Agile/SCRUM methodologies and tools throughout the organization
• Familiarity with Tool Qualification Levels TQL

• Experience developing real-time software for a Hardware-in-the-Loop aircraft simulator
• Experience building and developing for a COTS HIL platform (dSPACE, NI, ADI, etc)
• Understanding of the National Instruments (NI) software suite
• Solid understanding of communication standards and protocols (RS-422/485, CAN, ARINC-429, AFDX, Ethernet, TCP/IP, USB etc…)
• Experience automating and executing test plans
• Familiarity with fault injection methodologies
• Proficiency with model based development using Matlab/Simulink
• Experience with DO-178 and other aviation standards
• Familiarity with or a passion for aviation
