We are looking for a Senior Architect to join our Identity and Access Management team. This is a hybrid role on-site three days a week in San Jose, reporting to the Senior Director, ZIdentity team. You will be responsible for design and development of enterprise-grade Identity Management Products for Zscaler. You will leverage your deep expertise in IAM and public cloud environments to drive hands‑on development and provide technical leadership.

• Practice technical leadership in design, development, and optimization of Identity platform
• Define and execute the technical roadmap for IAM, ensuring alignment with business goals
• Work closely with engineering teams to enhance support for Common Identity platform
• Drive professional development and growth initiatives for team members

• Minimum 12+ years of hands‑on experience in application architecture and development using Java. Experience developing enterprise‑grade Security or Networking products.
• Must have strong knowledge of Identity and Access Management protocols, specifically SAML, OAuth & OpenID connect.
• Expert‑level technical knowledge:
  Enterprise Java, OOP, OOA, systems architecture, RESTful APIs, and related frameworks ( e.g. Hibernate, Spring). CI/CD (tools and processes).
• Expert in Kubernetes and container infrastructure.
