Senior Fullstack Engineer

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA) is searching for a Senior Fullstack Engineer for a contract assignment with one of our premier SaaS clients in San Jose, CA.

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using React, NextJS, Java, and Spring Boot.
• Develop user interfaces in Type Script, CSS, and use tools such as Web Pack and ESLint.
• Design, implement, and consume RESTful and Graph
  
  QL APIs to support dynamic and scalable front-end experiences.
• Build and deploy scalable and secure solutions on AWS, leveraging services like RDS, S3, and event frameworks.
• Work with SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, Postgre
  
  SQL) and optionally No
  
  SQL systems (e.g., Mongo
  
  DB).
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and agile ceremonies.
• Ensure application performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the stack.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git, and Docker.

• 3+ years of experience in full-stack development.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, React, and NextJS.
• Experience with Type Script, Webpack, Babel, ESLint, and Jest in modern web development workflows.
• Experience with AWS infrastructure and deployment practices.
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational database design.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git), Agile methodologies, and Dev Ops practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

• Familiarity with Ruby code bases.
• Experience with monitoring tools like New Relic, Splunk, or Grafana.
• Exposure to containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience designing elegant user interfaces.
