Java Developer – Boq Apps Framework & Web Technologies

CTG is seeking an experienced Java Developer with strong expertise in Boq Apps Framework and modern web technologies to support enterprise application development initiatives for our client in San Jose, CA.

Location: San Jose, CA

Duration: 7 Months

• Design, develop, and support enterprise applications using Java/JEE technologies.
• Build scalable web applications utilizing Boq Apps Framework, Boq Web, and Soy.
• Develop and integrate RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Implement modern software engineering practices including dependency injection, IoC, AOP, and TDD.
• Support enterprise transaction management, batch processing, and system integrations.
• Collaborate with Agile development, QA, Dev Ops, and architecture teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application performance and production issues.
• Participate in CI/CD automation and Dev Ops-driven deployment processes.

• 7+ years of Java and web technologies experience.
• Strong experience with Boq Apps Framework, Boq Web, and Soy.
• Hands‑on expertise with REST/SOAP web services.
• Experience with enterprise Java frameworks and scalable application architecture.
• Knowledge of Dev Ops methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.

• Experience with functional programming and modern software design patterns.
• Familiarity with transaction management, batch processing, and data access frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $95,000 to $105,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
