Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Full‑Stack Senior Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain modern web applications across the stack, leveraging modern technology approaches and Agile principles to deliver value early and often.

• Develop and maintain a secure, reliable, scalable, and efficient platform spanning back‑end persistence and compute, APIs, and web applications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and implement software solutions that meet business requirements.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure quality and adherence to best practices.
• Mentor and guide engineers, fostering technical growth and development.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through deployment and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Drive continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and engineering practices.

• Minimum 5 years of software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in at least one strongly‑typed language, with a willingness to work in Type Script.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience conducting code reviews and mentoring engineers.
• Proficiency with AI‑enabled software development and adaptability to evolving best practices.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Knowledge of serverless architectures, event‑driven systems, and microservices.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including AWS CDK.
• Experience building agentic AI solutions.
• Experience developing software for tax, accounting, or compliance‑driven industries such as healthcare or finance.
• Experience building multi‑tenant SaaS applications.
• Experience in a technical leadership role.

• Washington, Illinois, New York, Southern California: $138,500 – $162,900
