Tech Lead Mobile Engineer - User Growth

Tik Tok’s User Growth team leads data‑driven growth initiatives across Tik Tok and all its platforms (Lite, Web, etc.). We are seeking talented individuals who enjoy the intersection of product, data, design, and engineering to help us reach the next milestone of billions of users. You’ll have the opportunity to build best‑in‑class onboarding experiences for our users as well as define A/B testing frameworks to measure and improve user retention rate.

• Leverage data to understand users and product in depth, identify areas of opportunity, and execute projects to drive user growth, retention, and engagement.
• Collaborate with design and product teams to create a world‑class mobile experience.
• Analyze and optimize Android applications for efficiency and performance.
• Promote robust, maintainable code, clear documentation, and deliver high‑quality work on a tight schedule.

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent majors.
• Strong understanding of software development principles and the Android platform.
• Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, Objective‑C or Swift.
• Ability to understand and debug large and complex code bases.
• Good team communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion and experience building consumer‑facing products is a huge plus; we would love to hear about apps you’ve developed.
