As the Senior Director of Software Engineering, you will provide definitive technical leadership to expand our footprint through high-stakes hardware partnerships, drive execution velocity across core Android OS integrations, and lead a software engineering organization to deliver the future of living room computing.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $364000 - $510000 (USD) + 40% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefits

* + Own and lead the technical vision and strategy for how we deliver and grow the Android

TV ecosystem. Steer high-stakes technical evaluations with partners.

+ Lead the technical evolution of TV in an AI-first world. Enforce rigorous engineering discipline around clean conversational UI paradigms and hybrid model execution.

+ Drive the platform that results in amazing experiences for users, combining the power or linear TV with OTT models and using Generative AI to reimagine TV.

+ Manage relationships with key partners and stakeholders, internal:
Android Media Framework, core Android, Search, Assistant and You Tube; external: OEMs, Operators, Content partners and Developers.

+ Understand TV business models and ensure the platform can drive the right framework for sustainability
