Job Overview

• Design, create, and execute comprehensive software test plans and test cases to assure the high quality of ASML’s world‑class products.
• Apply advanced testing methodologies in a concurrent computing software architecture environment.
• Collaborate regularly with software developers, hardware engineers, and application engineering teams.

• Education
  :
  PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Applied Physics, or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience
  :
  Minimum 2–3 years in commercial software product development and/or testing; strong understanding of operating systems, relational databases, concurrent computing, client/server architecture, network protocols, and file system management.
• Proficiency in Unix and Windows environments; programming skills in C/C++, Perl, and shell scripting.
• Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills; ability to excel in a cross‑functional, team environment.
• Experience in cross‑platform (Unix/Windows) application testing and knowledge of optics or microlithography is a definite plus.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to articulate at a system level.
• Good numerical analysis and logical thinking skills.
• Proactive with a strong sense of ownership; self‑motivated.
