Insight Global is seeking a Software Engineer to support the development and launch of key product features for a leading financial services client’s debit card platform. This individual will be a highly motivated and versatile engineer responsible for the design, development, and delivery of state‑of‑the‑art web experiences for debit card customers.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
• 5+ years of backend software development experience
• Strong experience with Java and Spring / Spring Boot
• Solid knowledge of RESTful API design and development
• Good understanding of web development principles, debugging tools, and best practices
• Experience with unit and functional testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Selenium, Cypress)
• Understanding of Dev Ops principles and experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of web application security best practices
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience developing web applications using Node.js and React
• Experience with front‑end performance optimization techniques
• Experience working with microservices architectures
• Experience in agile development environments (sprint planning, estimation, execution)
• Experience collaborating closely with design and product teams
