About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Linux USB Driver Engineer to support driver development, debugging, integration, and customer enablement for ICs and FPGA-based prototype platforms. This role will work closely with internal engineering teams and customers to bring up, validate, and troubleshooting Linux-based USB driver solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, debug, and maintain Linux USB drivers for ICs and FPGA-based prototype platforms.
  • Support driver bring-up, integration, validation, and issue resolution on embedded hardware platforms.
  • Work directly with customers to debug, co-develop, and integrate USB driver solutions into customer systems.
  • Collaborate with internal hardware, firmware, software, and applications engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Support customer site visits as needed for bring-up, debugging, or technical issue resolution.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience developing Linux drivers at the kernel and application levels.
  • Hands‑on experience with USB and Linux USB driver development is required.
  • Experience with Linux drivers for UART, 12C, 13C, SPI, or similar embedded interface protocols.
  • Strong embedded software debugging skills on hardware platforms, including ICs, FPGA prototypes, or evaluation boards.
  • Ability to work directly with customers on technical debugging, integration, and issue resolution.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BMC driver development experience for server platforms or DC‑SCM systems.
  • Experience with FPGA prototype platforms and embedded board bring‑up.
  • Experience with ARM processors and firmware development.
