ResponsibilitiesThe Tik Tok Customer Service Platform (CSP) is primarily responsible for providing efficient support services to Tik Tok users, collecting and analyzing user feedback, and assisting Tik Tok in continuously optimizing its products and services to enhance user experience and satisfaction. The platform delivers the following business value:
- Increase user retention rate:
By resolving user issues promptly, it enhances satisfaction and improves retention. - Improve user experience and satisfaction:
Acting as a bridge between users and Tik Tok, it helps the company understand and address user needs. - Provide valuable data and insights:
It collects and analyzes feedback to inform better product and service strategies. - Enhance brand image and reputation:
Promptly addressing user inquiries showcases Tik Tok’s care for users, strengthening brand loyalty. - Support business operations and marketing activities:
It supplies technical support and insights for new feature promotion and marketing campaigns.
We are looking for talented individuals to join us for a 12‑week internship in 2026. Internships at Tik Tok aim to offer students industry exposure and hands‑on experience, providing a vibrant blend of social events and development workshops. Online Assessment:
Candidates who pass resume screening will be invited to participate in Tik Tok’s technical online assessment.
- Responsible for front‑end development of the Tik Tok customer service platform, including page interactions, data visualization, and customer service systems.
- Understand business requirements, tackle technical challenges, and possess planning and architectural design capabilities.
- Explore and optimize the development models and process standards of the team to improve efficiency and code quality.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing an Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during the Summer of 2026.
- Solid foundation in computer science and proficiency in at least one front‑end framework (React or Vue), with an understanding of the underlying design philosophy.
- Understanding of front‑end engineering concepts, capable of designing robust system modules and components, with a strong sense of code structure and standardization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree program and intending to return to continue studies after the internship.
- Familiarity with Node.js, knowledge of frameworks such as Express or Koa, and prior experience in server‑side application development.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working closely with product and design teams to meet user requirements.

Job InformationThe hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $45–$45.

They also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in the first half of the year, 40 if hired in the second half).
