Byte Dance is seeking a Software Engineer Intern (Developer Infrastructure) for the 2026 Summer intake in San Jose. You will work with the Technology team to build development infrastructure, cloud IDEs, and CI/CD systems, while enabling engineers to deliver high-quality features.
The role requires pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree in CS/Software Engineering, and a 12‑week commitment. Experience with Android/Java/Objective‑C/Python/Golang and cloud/back‑end systems is valued.
