Immediate need for a talented Liferay Developer. This is a 06+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in San Jose, CA (Onsite).

Pay Range: $43 - $46/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

• Design end-to-end system architectures: APIs.
• Write production-quality code — Liferay/Java, SQL, API services — across the full lifecycle:
• Java Mastery:
  Strong background in core Java (Java 11/17+) and enterprise frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, or Hibernate.
• Liferay
  
  Experience:
  
  Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience developing specifically for Liferay DXP (7.x).
• Modular Architecture:
  Thorough understanding of OSGi runtime framework, bundle life cycles, and modularity concepts.
• Web Technologies:
  Familiarity with modern frontend ecosystems (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, React, or Angular) and responsive web design.
• Database Knowledge:
  Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle) and writing optimized SQL queries.
• Tools:
  Experience with modern build and version control tools, including Gradle, Maven, Git, and Blade CLI
