ResponsibilitiesOur core development focus is the host interface firmware layer that sits at the intersection of system software and flash management firmware. This firmware technology drives V-NAND and enables performance-oriented, enterprise-class applications for hyper-scale data centers, big data processing, and software defined storage. The role will define, implement, and support functional test coverage to validate NVMe firmware. Other duties include monitoring and analyzing test coverage and deploying new tools and capabilities into daily regression cycles, and monitoring quality metrics to ensure continuous improvement in product quality.
Requirements- Test engineer in the NVMe Customer Qualification test team in an enterprise product division.
- Work on NVMe Solid State Drives, executing and debugging OEM drive qualification tests.
- Understand test scripts and debug failures during test execution with the development team.
- Experience with at least one front-end storage protocol (NVMe/PCIe, FC, SAS).
- Experience programming/scripting (Perl, Shell or Python).
- Experience with SSD or HDD testing is a plus.
- Experience with enterprise storage systems setup, testing, and debugging.
- Familiar with protocol analyzers such as LeCroy, Serial Tek, or Xgig.
- Experience with system or device-level performance analysis.
