- Define, collect, and interpret product and system requirements.
- Create system design documents focusing on workflows and interfaces.
- Design and implement software and services for orchestration, automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Recommend and maintain technical design methodologies, processes, and standards.
- Provide technical mentorship to lower level engineers.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training processes.
- Conduct presentations internally and externally.
- Consistently meet commitments.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Collaborate with other developers within the team or across teams to select appropriate design solutions or ensure compatibility of system components.
- Research, test, or verify the proper functioning of software features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
- Telecommute (optional) with 25% travel to F5 offices required.
Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or closely related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in a related field.
