Firmware Engineer

Position: Firmware Engineer 4
Job Overview:
Pay Range: $90.75hr - $95.8hr Requirement/Must Have: 8-10 years experience of firmware development. Prior work experience in developing firmware for high speed Ser Des systems, spanning both electrical and optical domains. Programming skills with C and C++. Knowledge of physical layer specification in PCIe and IEEE 802.3. Demonstrable debugging skills. Responsibilities:
Design and develop firmware that bridges high-speed electrical Ser Des, silicon photonics, and optical subsystems. Work closely with firmware engineers, hardware designers, system architects, and validation teams to enable robust control, calibration, and optimization of next generation Ser Des solutions. Integrate advanced photonic integrated circuits (PICs) and high performance electrical interfaces. Nice to Have:
Ability to work with hardware debugging tools such as JTAG, I2C bus analyzers and scope. Experience in source control and build management.
