This is an exciting opportunity to join our Cisco Security Chief Technology Office (CTO) team focused on building new innovation as we take a platform centric approach to the next generation data center. Our Security Innovation team is creating winning solutions for workload orchestration for our customers that focus on ease of use and integrate identity, security, networking, and management services from Cisco's entire portfolio.

In this role, you will drive the development of the user interface and user experience of our new workload platform with a focus on ease of use for our customers. You'll collaborate with industry leading internal Cisco teams, like Isovalent, with the goal of making our platform's network seamlessly co-exist with customer's existing network topology. You'll also partner with our AI Software & Platform team to leverage agentic AI for running playbook/automation to simplify migration of workloads and integrations from existing workload platforms to our platform.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree with 10+ years or Master's degree with 6+ years or PhD with 3+ years of platform software development experience to include programming languages like Typescript, or equivalent experience
- Experience with open-source operating systems such as Linux
- Experience with user-facing libraries such as React
- Experience with state management tools such as React Query or Zustand
- Demonstrated experience with modern bundlers such as Vite, Vite+, Rspack or Webpack
- Experience using Kubernetes for automating, scaling and managing workload applications.
- Experience with VMware vSphere and NSX
- Experience with platforms like Open Shift
- Experience with open-source tools like Open Stack
- Experience with SPA performance optimization
- Experience with Design System integration
- Familiarity with data visualization libraries such as Recharts, AG-Grid, Tanstack Table, or similar
- Experience with Testing Frameworks such as Vitest, Jest, or Playwright
- Experience with Micro-Frontend Architecture
- Developing and consuming GraphQL APIs
- Experience with AI-assisted development tooling such as Git Hub Copilot, Codex, or similar

The starting salary range posted for this position is $ to $ and reflects the projected salary range for new hires in this position in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including incentive compensation*, equity, or benefits. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location, market conditions, job-related skillset, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, and/or training. - Non-exempt employees
