Job Overview - Shipping / Receiving Associate I
Pay Rate: $27.00XX. on w2
Schedule:
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Flexible start between 6:00-8:00 AM)

Role
Summary:
Responsible for coordinating domestic and international shipments, receiving materials, processing purchase orders, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Acts as a key point of contact between internal teams and external carriers while ensuring timely, compliant, and accurate shipment processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders
- Process shipping and receiving transactions using SAP/ERP systems
- Prepare shipping documents (Transfer Orders, Export Declarations, LOIs)
- Move and deliver materials to warehouse and manufacturing areas
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized receiving dock
- Communicate shipment status, discrepancies, and issues to supervisors
- Coordinate with carriers and international teams as needed
- Follow BD safety, EH&S, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Operate forklift when required and lift up to 50 lbs
- High School Diploma required
- 2-3 years of shipping/receiving, inventory, or materials distribution experience
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Valid driver's license required
