As a Ramp Agent, you’ll be at the heart of our ground operations, ensuring that our guests’ baggage and cargo are loaded, offloaded, and transported with care and precision. You’ll work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment where teamwork, safety, and attention to detail are essential. From processing baggage and cargo to receiving and dispatching aircraft, you’ll help keep our flights running smoothly and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely lift, load,unload,transport baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft.
• Sort, scan, and route checked baggage in thebagroomaccording to flight destination, priority status, and transfer requirements.
• Receive inbound transfer baggage from arriving flights and ensuretimelydelivery to outbound flights within established connection windows.
• Deliver passenger luggage and cargo todesignatedlocations.
• Guide incoming and departing aircraft from the gateusing hand signals and wing walking procedures.
• Serviceaircraftwater and lavatory.
• Safely driving and operating ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in areas of congestion.
• Operate baggage scanners and computers to ensure baggage is routed accurately to the customer's destination.
• Inspect ramp areas adjacent togate andaircraftfor debris and remove/dispose of when found.
• Maintain clear communication with flight crews and other ground personnel.
• Monitor weather conditions and take appropriate safety measures.
• Perform regular equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks.
• Comply withall federal, state, municipal, airport authority and carrier safety and security requirements.
• Performotherduties as assigned to support McGee’s successful business operation.

Required

• A valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Ability to pass a physicalcapabilitytest.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Ability to obtain &maintainanairport SIDA badge, US Customs seal, and USPS security clearance.
• Ability to work any shift, including early mornings, late nights,weekends and Holidays.
• Lifting upto 75 pounds on a frequent basis.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat,reach,and grasp.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills withtheability toget alongwith others.
• Ability to work at a constant and quick pace for up to two consecutive hours.
• Understanding and ability toutilizeelectronic tools to interpret flight schedules and airline flight destination information
• Performing basic mathematical functions (e.g., counting bags, verifying cargo weights)
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Mustbe authorized towork in the U.S.
