Warehouse Coordinator

The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient, organized, and safe receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, equipment, and inventory. This role supports the Shipping & Receiving Manager and the Fleet and Tool Manager and ensures accurate warehouse activities.

• Coordinate the receiving, storage, and distribution of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Provide inventory records to the warehouse activities for the management systems or spreadsheets to be updated.
• Provide the shipping and receiving documentation, including packing slips, and delivery receipts.
• Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of material requisitions.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels; assist in reordering supplies as needed.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in annual physical inventory.
• Organize and maintain the warehouse layout to maximize efficiency and safety.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and OSHA safety standards.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed (with proper certification).
• Assist with loading/unloading trucks and inspecting shipments for damage or discrepancies.
• Assist coordination of tool and equipment check-in/check-out processes, if applicable.
• Transport and deliver construction materials and equipment to and from job sites as scheduled.
• Performs other related duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or related training preferred.
• 2+ years of warehouse or logistics experience.
• Experience with inventory systems.
• Forklift certification a plus.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with warehouse work.

The salary range for this position is $25 - $34 per hour based on experience and qualifications. In addition to a base salary, Axis Mechanical Inc. offers a performance-based bonus, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for professional growth.
