Material Handler
Pay rate: $21/HR
Join our warehouse team as a Material Handler working in a busy, hands‑on environment. You’ll be part of a crew that processes batteries for recycling and distribution, handling everything from shipping & receiving to helping out in the retail space as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Handle and move batteries (5–100 lbs); team lift for items over 50 lbs
- Build and shrink‑wrap pallets of batteries (new, used, recycled) for processing and shipping
- Use warehouse equipment and carts to transport batteries
- Pull batteries from retail space as required
- Process shipments in and out of the warehouse
- Assist with inventory control; scanner training provided
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Provide basic customer service in retail area
- Warehouse or shipping/receiving experience
- Inventory experience required (will train on scanner systems)
- Customer service and retail experience a plus
- Sit‑down forklift experience (FKL) a plus
- Able to work in a dusty, sometimes loud environment
- Physically able to move items weighing up to 100 lbs (with assistance as needed)
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Monday – Friday
- Temp‑to‑hire opportunity
- $21/hour
- Overtime as needed
- Casual attire: plain shirts (black or grey), shorts or jeans
- Composite or steel‑toed boots required (client provides PPE)
