- Material Handler III is responsible for the safe, accurate loading and unloading of product within the distribution center.
- Uses ERP systems for location and storage of items, proper packaging, and methods of material movement.
- May prepare goods for final shipment and coordinate documentation for domestic and international shipments.
- Handles material inbound or outbound based on business needs.
- The duties and responsibilities below are representative of the work performed and are not all-inclusive.
- Process customer orders: scan bar codes, pick, label boxes, and pack orders.
- Use RF technology to process orders.
- Maintain an acceptable work area per SOP.
- Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Complete RF device training to obtain necessary profiles.
- Verify accuracy and package shipments.
- Palletize completed orders: scan, retrieve, and place on pallets.
- Re-palletize products for shipment.
- Perform dock manifest duties: scan completed pallets and operate shrink wrapper.
- Transport pallets by MHE if required.
- Verify accuracy and package shipments.
- Use ERP systems for location, storage, and movement of materials.
- Prepare goods for final shipment and handle domestic/international documentation.
- Load/unload shipments using WMS.
- Ensure safe pallet loading/unloading to prevent damage.
- Complete duties timely per department standards.
- Retrieve products and replenish picking locations.
- Maintain an acceptable work area per SOP.
- Complete RF device training and obtain necessary profiles.
- Follow GDP and safety instructions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned and train in SAP if required.
- Maintain current status in C2C training modules.
- Operate equipment safely and report maintenance issues.
- Keep equipment neat and orderly per procedures.
- Maintain equipment certification at all times.
- Perform job activities safely and in accordance with safety requirements.
- Assist in warehouse security and promote a safe environment.
- Report injuries, accidents, hazards, or suspicious activity immediately.
- Understand organizational quality goals.
- Maintain a clean and professional work area.
- Receive Hazmat training including general awareness, function-specific, security awareness, safety training.
- Learn responsibilities of other warehouse positions and act as backup when needed.
- High School diploma, GED, or 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with MHE (Order Pickers, Reach Trucks, Counter Balance, Dock Stocker).
- Forklift Certification required.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced distribution environment.
- Ability to read and interpret distribution documents.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
- May operate MHE and use Voice/RF scanner.
- Ability to perform in a metrics‑driven environment.
- Basic analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- General distribution knowledge.
- Exposure to work near moving mechanical equipment.
- Perform essential functions with or without accommodation.

- Regular exposure to walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, balancing, crouching, reaching, pushing/pulling, grasping, twisting, lifting, and repetitive wrist/hand/finger motion.
