Data Center Inventory & Asset Coordinator

We are currently seeking a Data Center Inventory & Asset Coordinator responsible for the shipping, receiving, tracking, and inventory management of hardware, equipment, and components within a data center environment.

Daily responsibilities include tracking inventory and product availability, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, maintaining shipment documentation, and ensuring required tools, consumables, and assets are available for technical teams.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date information within inventory and asset management systems, including configuration management databases and asset repositories.
• Perform inventory cycle counts/audits, data corrections, and regulatory or compliance-related inventory activities.
• Handle material movement, including shipping, receiving, stocking, and inventory management.
• Ensure inventory and logistics tasks are completed accurately and according to established procedures and industry standards.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and customers.
• Work closely with field technicians and central logistics hubs to coordinate shipping activities.
• Arrange freight carrier pickups and delivery schedules.
• Monitor stock levels and notify management of shortages or replenishment requirements.
• Escalate inventory, shipping, or operational issues when necessary.
• Follow all applicable safety requirements and procedures.
• Recommend improvements to increase productivity, safety, and inventory accuracy.
• Participate in additional projects and operational duties as assigned.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience with inventory management and logistics.
• Familiarity with documentation requirements for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and within local or geographically distributed teams.
• Ability to travel locally between data center locations as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (23 kg) when required.
• Ability to safely climb ladders when necessary.
• Ability to properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ability to stand and walk throughout a facility for extended periods.
• Ability to safely handle tools, equipment, and materials and perform repetitive physical tasks.

• S2: 2–4 years of relevant inventory, logistics, warehouse, or asset management experience.
• S3: 5–7 years of relevant inventory, logistics, warehouse, or asset management experience.
