We are looking for a Warehouse Operations Manager based in San Jose, CA
.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

This role owns the full order fulfillment cycle — from the moment an order is received through final delivery — and is accountable for safety, accuracy, efficiency, and on‑time performance across the warehouse. It requires close coordination with fulfillment and store staff, plus external partners, to keep orders moving quickly and cost‑effectively.

Day to day, this means overseeing order processing, picking and packing, inventory and order tracking, quality control, and shipping prep. Success depends on strong collaboration with customer service, carriers, manufacturers, suppliers, and logistics partners to consistently hit SLAs and customer expectations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Supervises day‑to‑day warehouse operations — receiving, stocking, order processing, customer delivery, and will‑call — through hands‑on leadership of Floor Supervisors and their teams.
  • Builds and maintains a  safety first  culture, driving QMS performance and ensuring safety and maintenance protocols are followed on every shift.
  • Develops floor supervisors into strong people leaders, partnering with HR on training, hiring, and retention initiatives across the warehouse team.
  • Owns quality and compliance across warehouse processes, including ISO procedures, material handling, order accuracy, and inspection.
  • Maintains an organized, well‑documented warehouse — proper stock traceability, production standards, and preventive maintenance on all vehicles and equipment.
  • Tracks key operational metrics (payroll, expenses, staffing, safety, delivery schedules) and keeps senior leadership informed on warehouse performance.
  • Partners with Sales and meets periodically with customers to support an exceptional experience and drive market share growth.
  • Identifies process improvements that reduce costs and beat target KPIs, while keeping the warehouse clean and organized across all shifts.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • 5+ years of progressive warehouse operations experience, including managing a team of 15 or more.
  • Background in manufacturing, ideally with exposure to laser or other metal fabrication techniques.
  • Strong process and quality discipline, with a solid grasp of workforce and labor planning.
  • Comfortable analyzing data and presenting findings clearly.
  • Sound independent judgment within established policies and procedures.
  • Solid working knowledge of Company products and processing equipment.
  • Familiarity with warehouse equipment, including forklifts and other processing machinery.
  • Working knowledge of ISO procedures and ASME B30.2 crane operation standards.
  • Strong grounding in personnel management and supervisory best practices.
SKILLS:
  • Strong math, writing, and communication skills.
  • Detail‑oriented with a solid understanding of safe work practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and internal business systems.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Customer‑focused with a results‑driven mindset.
  • Solid grasp of warehouse and distribution operations, quality control, and cost management.
  • Comfortable with basic measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures) and metric conversions.
  • Skilled at analyzing complex data and developing practical solutions.
  • Able to prioritize workload and stay focused on key initiatives.
  • Effective trainer and communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Builds strong working relationships across supervisors, peers, vendors, and the public.
  • Thrives independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced setting.
  • Leads complex projects and adapts well to organizational change.
  • Maintains accurate records and reports, manually and electronically.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
  • Valid California Class "C" driver's license or equivalent, maintained throughout employment.
  • OSHA‑compliant Forklift certification (training…
