Job Summary

We are seeking an Inventory Clerk for a temp-to-hire opportunity in San Jose, CA within the electronics, components, and semiconductor manufacturing industry. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented inventory professional who enjoys hands‑on warehouse work, accurate data entry, and supporting shipping, receiving, and materials operations.

The Inventory Clerk will help ensure component inventory is received, counted, recorded, and entered accurately into the inventory system. This is a great opportunity to join a stable manufacturing environment where accuracy, teamwork, and reliability are valued. Training will be provided on the inventory system, making this a strong fit for candidates with solid warehouse inventory experience and basic Excel skills who are ready to grow with a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive incoming inventory and verify small component shipments for accuracy.
  • Perform manual inventory counts and ensure materials are properly documented.
  • Enter inventory information into the PCMRP system after training is provided.
  • Use Excel to open files, cut and paste data, and create basic tables as needed.
  • Handle small boxes of electronic components weighing up to approximately 20 lbs.
  • Support shipping, receiving, warehouse, and inventory control processes to maintain accurate stock records.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Pay range: $23.00 to $28.00 per hour.

Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Receive and count inventory for electronic components and warehouse materials.
  • Enter accurate inventory data into PCMRP and related tracking systems.
  • Support shipping, receiving, and warehouse inventory control activities.
  • Use Excel for basic file updates, data movement, and table creation.
  • 3 to 5 years of inventory, warehouse, shipping and receiving, or related logistics experience.
  • Ability to manually count inventory with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory management systems.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including opening files, cutting and pasting data, and creating basic tables.
  • Ability to lift small boxes of components weighing approximately 20 lbs.
  • Reliable, organized, and able to follow detailed inventory procedures in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in electronics, components, semiconductor manufacturing, or a similar technical warehouse environment.
  • Prior experience using MRP, ERP, or inventory control systems.
  • Strong attention to part numbers, quantities, labels, and inventory documentation.
