Pay Range: $3,076.93 - $4,230.77 - Bi-Weekly – Depending on Experience

The Social Worker is responsible for providing needs-based behavioral and social-emotional services to students with and without IEPs. In addition to working directly with students and their teachers, the Social Worker will collaborate with school leadership in developing and implementing restorative practices, behavioral intervention processes, a Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) to support schools in the development of positive school climate, classroom management, social and emotional skills development.

The Social Worker will collaborate with the Leadership Team on strategic planning, professional development, and provide any technical assistance with establishing/implementing/utilizing progress monitoring tools. Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, providing social work services to both individuals and groups; direct and indirect consultation with students and teachers; conducting universal screenings for behavioral and social-emotional concerns; participate in assessment, behavior planning, intervention implementation, and progress monitoring.

As a supplemental support position, its funding is derived from federal sources; therefore, the continuation of employment is contingent upon the availability of federal funds (only for school year ).

Essential Functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Providing social work services to students with and without IEPs (504s and general education), methods to be used must be tailored to meet individual, group or classroom needs.
• Providing individual counseling, therapy for students and families.
• Consulting with faculty, team members, parents, additional resource providers, and appropriate outside agencies regarding socio-cultural and emotional factors impacting the student's academic performance/progress.
• Consulting with Leadership to identify priorities, develop action plans, and monitor progress.
• Participate in Annual IEP meetings, Eligibility Determination meetings, and Three-Year Re-evaluations.
• Writes IEP benchmarks and goals and establishes appropriate methods to monitor the progress of them.
• Coaches and supports school staff in determining the effectiveness of current referral, assessment, and progress monitoring practices.
• Supports school staff in delivering evidence-based small group interventions and oversees the development of social-emotional learning lessons to address the CASEL's 5 core competencies.
• Conducts research, then establishes and maintains community partnerships and linkages for social services and behavioral health supports.
• Properly conduct home visits and complete the Home Visitation Form following the appointments.
