Farm Stand Team Member

Job Purpose:

- As a Farm Stand Team Member at ECO CENTER INC, your main goal is to make sure our customers have a fantastic experience at our Farm Stand and Farm Share program. You'll be helping with checkout, distributing Harvest Boxes, sharing your knowledge about our products, engaging with the community, and keeping our daily operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and positive attitude.

- Operate the checkout process efficiently, ensuring accurate transactions.

- Distribute Harvest Boxes and provide information about their contents.

- Share your knowledge about our products, including produce and local food items.

- Engage with the community, answering questions and providing excellent service.

- Support inventory management, including restocking and organizing products.

- Assist with order fulfillment and delivery preparations.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

- Work as part of a team to ensure smooth daily operations.

- Be ready to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

- Work weekends and be flexible with your schedule to meet business needs.

Required

Education:

- No specific education requirements.

Preferred Education:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

- Coursework or training in customer service, hospitality, agriculture, food systems, retail, or culinary arts is a plus.

Required Experience:

- Prior customer service experience.

- Retail or cashiering experience.

- Food service or farm stand experience.

- Warehouse or delivery experience.

- Related hands-on work experience preferred but not required.

Preferred Experience:

- Experience with POS systems.

- Produce handling experience.

- Customer-facing service experience.

- Order fulfillment experience.

- Inventory support experience.

- Delivery driving experience.

- Experience with farm-based community programs.
