As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Gated Community in San Juan Capistrano, CA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support daily security-related operations with professionalism and care. This is a driving post. You will remain visible, help to deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service while working as part of an agile, reliable team that values people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $19.35 / Hour

Job Schedule: Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Thu 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do
  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document access activity in support of security-related operations at the location.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating issues through appropriate channels when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the building, common areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
  • Support front lobby and property access operations by assisting with visitor check‑in, directing guests, and communicating clearly with property management and/or emergency personnel as appropriate.
Minimum Requirements
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
