Parts Driver - Shipping-Receiving Clerk

The Parts Driver
- Shipping/Receiving Clerk delivers parts, helps ensure customer satisfaction by shipping parts out timely for delivery, and receives parts as part of warehouse duties. This role ensures the best shipping method is used and communicates with team members to ensure efficient and timely delivery of parts. The schedule may change; parts are delivered in the morning and shipping/receiving occurs in the afternoon.

• Deliver parts to customers safely and timely.
• Determine the proper method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and DOT regulations.
• Contract with freight companies to obtain the best rates and service within shipping requirements.
• Ensure inbound parts are accurate and inspected against shipping paperwork (bills of lading, packing lists, parts transfer, etc.). Document shortages, overages, rejections, or damaged materials.
• Accurately enter production part receipts to the purchase orders in the ADP system.
• Receive all MOR and miscellaneous shipments and process related paperwork.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Support resolution of discrepancies in purchase orders, packing slips, invoicing, inventory, and bills of materials.
• Support initiatives to improve shipping, receiving, handling, and storage of materials; support continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain logistics process.
• Follow all safety and security procedures; perform other duties as assigned.

• 1-3 years of shipping & receiving experience (auto dealership experience preferred).
• Parts delivery experience preferred.
• Minimal parts counterperson experience a plus.
• Highly professional and dependable with excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities; able to maintain composure under stress.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; customer-service oriented; team player with commitment to customers and colleagues.
• Self-motivated with good written and verbal communication skills; high energy and willingness to go above and beyond.
• Willing to multi-task; bilingual is a plus.
