Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Help Desk professional for a contract opportunity in San Juan, PR. This role is a strong fit for a proactive technical support specialist with hands-on Level 1 troubleshooting experience and the ability to support users across hardware, software, telecommunications, business systems, and remote access environments.

The IT Help Desk position plays an important role in keeping daily technology operations running smoothly in a professional, service-focused environment. This opportunity offers exposure to a broad IT support setting, including workstation support, mobile devices, VoIP systems, remote user support, monitoring tools, asset management, and disaster recovery preparedness.

Candidates who enjoy solving technical problems, communicating clearly with end users, and working as part of a responsive technology team will be well aligned for this role. The environment values teamwork, accountability, timely issue resolution, and dependable customer service.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide Level 1 technical support for internal and external IT tickets, resolving issues or escalating them appropriately.
- Set up, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, peripherals, printers, mobile devices, VoIP phones, and workstation equipment.
- Support Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, mobile email clients, VPN connectivity, remote desktop tools, and business applications.
- Perform end-user device configuration, including imaging, software updates, application installations, and basic hardware support.
- Assist with incident resolution, request management, asset tracking, service improvements, and disaster recovery readiness.
- Provide on-call support for after-hours incidents and critical system issues as needed.
