Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Collections Coordinator to support accounts receivable operations and help drive timely customer payments. This role is responsible for managing collection activities, reconciling account discrepancies, evaluating customer credit risk, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities- Manage customer accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.
- Investigate, reconcile, and resolve payment discrepancies and disputed receivables.
- Review customer credit profiles and support the establishment of payment terms and credit limits.
- Research customer claims related to invoices, payments, and account balances.
- Monitor aging reports and assist with managing delinquent accounts.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to collections activities.
- Partner with internal teams to support the resolution of billing and payment issues.
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of collections, accounts receivable, or credit and collections experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret financial information and perform basic calculations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience preparing reports and maintaining accurate account records.
- Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
